Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Fes - Ifran - Midelt - Erfoud - Merzouga

Your driver/guide will pick you up from your accommodation in Fez early in the morning at 07:30 am, embark on the 2 days desert trip from Fez while including many stops to chill out, enjoy the view or take pictures. Our first break will be in the beautiful city of Ifrane that was selected as the second cleanest city in the world in 2015. Then, the UNESCO preserved cedar forest where you can spot the endangered Barbary Macaque.

Our lunch will take place either in Zaida or Midelt, then cross the snaky High-Atlas Mountains offering picturesque views. Include another short break in the panoramic Ziz Valley with its thousand palm trees. Arrive in the sand dune field of Erg Chebbi where you will go for the camel ride experience while enjoying the splendid views of the sunset. You will spend the night in our luxury desert camp but before that you will have dinner under the stars or in the restaurant’s camp.

Day 2: Merzouga Desert - Ziz Valley - Ifrane - Fes

You will be woken by the camp’s staff members in the early morning to attend the panoramic view of the sunrise. Have your breakfast under the sunlight, take a refreshing shower and get ready for driving back to Fez. We will include many short breaks so that the drive is more enjoyable.
